Don Foster, a Toronto, Ontario native earned an Economics degree from the University of Western Ontario. Don began his career in 1984 in the Pella PDSN system as a Territory Sales Consultant in the Toronto market. In 1995 Don became the National Sales Manager with responsibilities for 18 branches across the country. In 2001 he became the General Manager of Pella’s new corporately owned sales branch in Toronto. Don was charged with developing a startup company, hiring all employees and creating a growth strategy plan for the market. Upon 8 successful years as the GM Don was promoted to the role of Director of the Trade and Commercial segments for the Pella Sales Subsidiary network across North America. In 2010 Don and his family relocated to Arizona where he continued his Director role. In 2014, along with his business partner, Sammy Song, he purchased the Mountain West Branch where they enjoyed significant growth and received numerous sales growth and customer satisfaction awards. In 2025, Don and Sammy strategically changed direction and aligned themselves with the Premium brand of Marvin Windows and Doors. Marvin is a family-owned and family-managed company that has a customer-centric focus, premium products utilizing innovative materials and prides themselves on always doing the right thing. Their core value focus and premium brand reputation align well with our Mountain West Windows and Doors future growth strategy.
Sammy Song, born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, started his career in the window and door industry as an intern with Pella Corporation in 2003. During his internship, he was awarded the Intern Grant Award for exemplary accomplishments and contributions. After completing his accounting degree from the University of Iowa and successfully passing the CPA exam, he joined Pella Corporation full-time in 2004. Throughout his time with Pella Corporation, Sammy held various roles in the Finance department, including Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting, Internal Audit, Corporate Taxation and Treasury. In 2007, Sammy moved to Arizona, where he joined the sales branch leadership team of the local Pella branch. He eventually took on a senior leadership role, responsible for the growth and financial management of the Pella Trade and Commercial Sales Subsidiary network across North America. In 2014, Sammy achieved a long-term goal by purchasing the Mountain West branch alongside his business partner, Don Foster. In 2025, Sammy and Don were excited to elevate their product offering to exclusively distribute Marvin Windows and Doors and complimentary products. Marvin’s premium brand reputation for high-quality innovative products, focus on great customer experiences, and culture of always doing the right thing, aligned well with the long-term strategic direction of Mountain West Windows and Doors.
Eric, originally from Iowa and raised in Wisconsin, ventured to Arizona in 2004 and started working in the window and door industry. With experience across various departments, he now serves as our Operations General Manager. Eric's ardor lies in enhancing the customer experience for our clients. In his personal life, he's a dedicated husband and a loving father of three.
Geoff Short is a native of Utah and has been working in the window and door industry since 1994. He has held various positions within the company over the years and is currently the Trade and Commercial Sales Manager for the Utah region.
Richard Curtin, originally from Massachusetts and raised in Utah, boasts a 25-year sales career marked by outstanding leadership in fiercely competitive markets. He has steered sales teams in both Utah and Washington state. Rich began his journey with Mountain West in 2020 and presently serves as the General Manager of Replacement Sales. Beyond his professional life, Rich has been happily married for 20 years and is a proud father of two college-aged sons. In his downtime, he enjoys 4-wheeling and exploring the world through travel.
Aaron Royer, Replacement Installation Supervisor in Arizona, was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. His professional journey took a significant turn when he transitioned to Mountain West in late 2023 after a decade-long tenure in higher education. Aaron’s dedication to excellence and his meticulous attention to detail have been pivotal in his new role. He brings a fresh perspective to the replacement and installation field. Beyond work, Aaron enjoys live music, bowling and spending time with his wife and dogs.
Adam began his career in the window and door industry back in May 2000 in Seattle, WA as a sales consultant. His versatile career covers Sales, Marketing, and Operations. In 2004, Adam and his family moved to Arizona to continue his work in the window and door trade. His passion for the construction industry is driven by the ability to see both big and small projects develop from simple ideas to transformed spaces. He enjoys helping customers learn and see how impactful windows and doors can be to a home’s design, style, functionality, and energy efficiency. Outside of work, Adam enjoys following his hometown Seattle Seahawks, listening to live music, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Adam is also a proud former United States Marine and continues to apply the life lessons learned during his service.
Amy Viall, born in Scottsdale, AZ, was raised in Plano, TX. Her journey in the restaurant industry led her back to Arizona. With two decades of experience in leadership, from full-service restaurants to Director of Chick-fil-A, she's excelled in developing individuals and boosting sales. In April 2022, she joined Mountain West as a Replacement Coordinator and swiftly earned a promotion to Project Coordination Supervisor. Beyond work, she treasures family time and coaching her daughter's volleyball team. Amy is thrilled to be part of a company that values its employees and collaborates to foster business growth.
Blake is originally from Philadelphia and brings over 10 years of experience in the construction industry. As a dedicated husband and father, he values family time and enjoys traveling together whenever possible. In his free time, he pursues his passion for snowboarding and dirt biking, which keeps him active and inspired.
Brad has been in the window and door business since 1999, working in both commercial and residential sales. His current role as the architectural rep allows him to support the sales team and build relationships with architects in the Utah market. When not at work, Brad enjoys hiking and rafting with his family and friends.
Chris Pearson, originally from Los Angeles, California, began his career in nursing and retail management after moving to Tucson, Arizona. Eventually, he found his niche in telecommunications, accumulating over 15 years in technical operations and construction management. His outstanding track record stems from a strong emphasis on service quality and meeting customer expectations. At Mountain West, Chris serves as our Installation Manager, channeling his past successes into future growth with his teams. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with family, fishing, woodworking, attending his children's sporting events and watching documentaries and sports.
